FLIGHT PERMIT SERVICES
OVERFLY / LANDING PERMISSIONS
We have the ability to secure all required Flight Permits from Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) in the fastest and the most efficient way. Welkin Aviation Services arranges Overflight permission for over flying Bangladesh airspace. Welkin Aviation Services arranges Landing permission and Parking Bay allocation for non-schedule/chartered foreign flights (Cargo/Passenger) including any Emergency Medical Evacuation Flight, Humanitarian Assistance flight, United Nations flight, Flight Making Technical Landing for Refueling and any other purpose, etc.
FLIGHT PLANNING:
Welkin Aviation Services prepares ICAO Flight Plan (Plan De Vol) for the flight and get approval from different agencies including Pre-Flight Briefing Office. A copy of Approved Flight Plan is handed over to crew before departure.
NOTAM (NOTICE TO AIRMEN): Welkin Aviation Services collects copies of valid NOTAM, from airport NOTAM Office, which may affect the flight operations and hands over to crew before the flight.
MET BRIEFING/WEATHER FORECAST: Welkin Aviation Services coordinates with airport Meteorological Services Unit and arrange met briefing for crew. A met briefing folder with present and forecast weather information/charts is handed over to crew.
GROUND HANDLING SERVICES
RAMP SERVICES: We know ramp service is time sensitive; Welkin Aviation Services makes 100% efforts to ensure our clients’ tight schedules are met. In Bangladesh, Biman Bangladesh Airlines is the sole ground handling company. Welkin Aviation Services maintains an excellent business relationship with them to ensure timely ramp services for our clients. These services include followings:

CUSTOMS AND IMMIGRATION ASSISTANCE: Welkin Aviation Services coordinates with Airport Customs and Immigration and ensure timely assistances to flight crew and passengers, if any. Welkin Aviation Services also assist flight crew and passengers, if any for obtaining on arrival visa from airport immigration.
HOTEL ACCOMMODATION: On prior request from our valued clients, Welkin Aviation Services arranges quality accommodation in competitive price at Dhaka, Chittagong, Sylhet and Cox’s Bazar areas.
TRANSPORTATION: Welkin Aviation Services arranges transport for flight crew for movement within the airport area during ground handling operation. In addition, on prior request from our valued clients, Welkin Aviation Services can also arrange transportation for flight crew and passenger, if any to move from airport to hotel and back.
VIP SUPPORT SERVICES: On prior request from our valued clients, Welkin Aviation Services arranges VIP exclusive customs and immigration services, VIP Lounge, Baggage handling for VIPs, etc.
